  • The University Union Capital Room
    Located on the 3rd Floor, this room offers a built in projector, screen, audio, and seating for 26 in a conference layout.
  • Delta Room
  • University Ballroom
    The University Ballroom offers multiple built in screens, projectors, audio and can accommodate up to 2000 in various layouts.
  • Hinde Auditorium
    The Hinde Auditorium offers a lecture layout that can accommodate up to 180. The room includes a built in stage, projector, screen, and audio.
  • Orchard Suite
    The Orchard Suite, located on the 2nd Floor, offers seating for up to 120 and can be subdivided into three rooms.
  • Pacific Suite
  • Redwood Room
    The Redwood Room, located on the 1st Floor, offers seating for up to 300 people, a built in projector, screen and sound.
  • Lobby Suite
    The Lobby Suite offers seating up to 60 and can be subdivided into two sections.
  • Canyon Room
  • Foothill Suite

ABOUT EVENT SERVICES

The University Union’s Event Services team takes pride in offering our customers superior service and creative solutions to assist you in the planning of your next successful event. Our facility has over 40,000 square feet of dedicated conference and meeting space that is available to the campus community and non-profit (501c3) community organizations.

Whether you need a small conference room for 15, a banquet space for 800, or something in- between, we can accommodate you.  With the 14,000+ square foot University Ballroom, the 180 seat Hinde Auditorium and up to 25 breakout rooms, there is ample room for a variety of meetings, conferences and special events.

Most of our rooms have built-in projection and sound as well as wireless internet capability. We offer a variety of auxiliary equipment to support your event.

Our dedicated staff will guide and assist you through the reservation and planning process. On the day of your event, staff will be readily available to help with any last minute needs you may have.   

SPACE REQUESTS FOR FALL 2025

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 6:30am, University Union Event Services Office will begin accepting space requests from recognized student organizations and University Departments for general meetings for the Fall 2025 Semester. Student organizations will receive priority for requests. However, departments should also request their reservations at this time. Reservations are processed in the order they are received after the priority student orgs are booked. Please do not submit before 6:30 am on April 9, so your request is not declined/delayed.

Use the following steps to reserve your general meeting room in the University Union:

  1. Review room information, set up styles and capacities
  2. Submit your request (beginning 6:30 am, April 9) by one of these methods:

For Student organizations, to request Classroom Space (not in the Union): Fill out a Space Request for Student Organizations form and e-mail to events.union@csus.edu or bring your completed form to the Event Services Office, 2nd floor. Campus Departments should contact Space Management directly.
