The University Union Games Room is now on Discord


What -
Discord is the easiest way to communicate over voice, video, and text and it's FREE! It is a virtual space to offer Games Room programming while practicing social distancing.

Why - 

  1. {Virtual Engagement} To continue the socializing and engagement spirit of the Games Room by providing a virtual space for Sac State students to connect with each other based on enjoyed common interests

  2. {Virtual Events} To continue to provide video game  tournament series similar to the format we used for our in-person tournaments during the regular semester within the Games Room

Who -
Open to all current Sac State Students!

How to join-

  1. You must have or create a personal Discord account. Visit Discord’s “Getting Started” website to learn how to create your Discord account. It's FREE!

  2. Join The University Union Games Room Discord Server.

  3. Once a part of UU Games Room Discord Server you will be instructed to complete a Sac State Student verification form. You must verify student status in order to participate in tournaments and to gain access to additional features of the UU Games Room Discord Server* (See form below)

  4. Register for one of our virtual tournaments! The winner for each tournament will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and will be added to our Games Room Hall of Fame! Stay tuned as we continue to add more Summer and Fall tournaments.
