Dr. Mary Frances Berry—founder of the Free South Africa Movement, Nelson Mandela Award recipient, former U.S. Assistant Secretary for Education, and acclaimed author—brings history to life through activism and scholarship, challenging each generation to resist injustice and take action. Thursday, February 25, 2026, at 12 pm in the University Union Ballroom at Sac State. Free and open to the public. Co-hosted by UNIQUE Programs and the Division of Student Affairs.
