ABOUT WISH UPON A STAR

Sacramento State’s The University Union is pleased to announce “Wish Upon A Star,” our annual gift drive. The gifts received will be delivered to Sunburst Projects, which creates safe and supportive communities for children, youth and families living with HIV/AIDS. 

Economic hardships have affected us all and the spirit of giving is more important than ever to help those less fortunate than us. To help make a wish come true:

  1. Visit the University Union's Wish Upon A Star display in the main lobby during building hours.
  2. Choose a wish
  3. Purchase the wish
  4. Deliver the unrapped gift with the tag attached to the University Union Info Desk by December 8

The donated gifts benefit the Sunburst Projects, who provide ongoing family support services for HIV/ AIDS impacted families with children.

The “Wish Upon a Star” display will be in The University Union from November 17- December 7, during regular building hours:
Monday-Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.

A special gift wrapping event will be hosted on December 8 at 9 am in The University Union.
