DESCRIPTION

The University Union’s UNIQUE Programs will host a free movie screening of Crazy Rich Asians on Thursday, February 21st, 2019. The event will be held in the University Union Ballroom at 7:30pm. There will be free popcorn provided to everyone who attends.

Crazy Rich Asians is the first Hollywood movie to feature an all-Asian cast in 25 years. The film follows Rachel Chu and her boyfriend, Nick, as they travel to Singapore for a wedding. Along the way, she finds out that Nick is super rich and the most eligible bachelor in Asia. Because he is taken by her, Rachel faces many dilemmas including jealousy from every girl in Singapore, not fitting into the high class society of Nick's family, and juggling to impress the already-disapproving mother of his.

The event is free for students and the general public. Film run time is approximately 120 minutes and is rated PG-13 for some suggestive content and language.
 

All ages permitted. No alcohol sold or permitted at venue. Open to the general public.
