Artist Statement
Beep Beep Boop is a collection of paintings by local multidisciplinary artist John Horton. Horton creates paintings that mimic the distortion of corrupt digital files; the result is a blend of art, technology and humanism. You may know him from his amazing murals around Sacramento or even his involvement with the “Sacramento Mural at Sac State” (he did the letter “C”), which was the signature mural for this year’s Wide Open Walls Festival.
