Artist Statement

We all have mental health and many of us carry secrets and burdens that can impact our mental health. PostSecretU is the official secret-sharing program, created by Frank Warren and in partnership with Active Minds, for colleges and other organizations based on the wildly popular PostSecret postcard project. PostSecretU offers a highly interactive way to raise awareness and reduce mental health stigma.

Sacramento State Active Minds Chapter has collected PostSecret cards for over 10 years. The secrets on display are a part of our very own community and meant to spark conversations through art and action to engage in reducing stigma surrounding mental health and mental health support.
