Artist Statement

Trinity Haynes is a Sacramento native and has been dabbling in Multidisciplinary Arts since she was a child and found beauty in the world around her. Exploring nature and humanity through various mediums of paint, photography, drawing, graphic design, and writing. Trinity is currently a senior at Sacramento State University studying Business Marketing, and hopes to continue into a Master's program. She’s earned numerous accolades for her development, and execution, of comprehensive designs in the fields of STEM, Education, Advocacy, and Design. Her tenacity to create has afforded her opportunities to fly US. coast-to-coast, and collaborate with peoples of diverse backgrounds to enhance programs she’s passionate about. Trinity has no one style, and continues to expand her design learning, however the style she’s presented before you is her favorite, coined: Chaos Collage Style.

The art was made to honor Women’s History Month and features waves of important women and events that have advocated for women’s rights worldwide. With both digitally composed Chaos Collage Stylings and physically collected items, there’s a kaleidoscopic reflection of the past, present, and future of feminine power. Each aspect tells a story of resilience, courage, and progress, inviting viewers to not only witness history, but to actively shape it. As you gaze into this vibrant collage of history, consider the role you play in shaping the narrative of tomorrow. Additionally, the mirror reflects not only the past, but also the endless possibilities of the future.
