Artist Statement

Art and Design with intention, introspection and intuition.

My innate fascination with learning through firsthand life experience and education has always been my driving force. This curiosity led me to move around, leaving roots in Colorado and Long Beach, CA, travel the world, work with a Social Justice Performance Group, and pursue my BFA in Architecture Design at Sacramento State.

My artistic skills range from Figure Drawing, Sketching, Acrylic Painting, 2D, 3D, and Graphic Design. I describe my artistic process as an intuitive and free flowing expression of my current position in life. Whether it be a school assignment or a meditative project, I approach each one with zero expectation and complete authenticity. The current exhibit “U_n_w_i_n_d_,” _is an abstract illustration of identifying, releasing, and processing emotions through texture, color, and movement. My goal is to spark curiosity and encourage engagement between viewers and my work.
