Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs is pleased to announce a lecture by David Coleman, author of trend-setting relationship books and inspiration for the film Hitch. This event will be on Thursday, October 23, 2014; beginning at 7:30 pm at the University Union Ballroom. Admission is FREE for Sacramento State students and the general public.

David Coleman is known worldwide as “The Dating Doctor.” With a Master of Arts degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University, he wrote a book called Making Relationships Matter; which is about his own life-defining moments and reveals how personal actions, choices and behaviors affect one’s life and the lives of loved ones. David has also contributed to five outstanding collaborative efforts; such as Leadership’s Greatest Hits and Let Your Leadership Speak. The publications are all filled with anecdotes, strategies and ideas to help expand one’s relationships and potential.

David has been honored 14 times as The National Speaker of the Year- 11 times by Campus Activities Magazine and 3 times by The National Association of Campus Activities and is the only speaker ever to be honored as the National Entertainer of the Year. David has spoken to more than 2,000,000 people in all 50 states, Canada and Europe; and another 20,000,000 through his appearances on radio, television, and in print He has spoken to a wide variety of audience members at more than 2,500 college campuses, corporations, and military installations about many dating-related issues ways to improve one’s relationships life. During his visit to Sac State, David will lecture on dating issues that face today’s students and staff.
