DESCRIPTION
Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs, Associated Students, Inc. Multi-Cultural Center and Gamma Zeta Alpha are pleased to El Grito at 12 pm on Tuesday, September 16 at The University Union Serna Plaza.
“El Grito”- the cry for independence- is a Mexican Independence Day celebration that will feature traditional Mexican music by local bands Tamborazo Del Valle and Mariachi Los Versatiles. The Consulate General of Mexico, Carlos Gonzalez Guiterrez, will also speak on the history and significance of El Grito.
This event is free and open to the general public.
All ages permitted. No alcohol sold or permitted at venue.
