DESCRIPTION

Sacramento State’s The University Union UNIQUE Programs is pleased to announce a FREE movie screening of Jurassic World on Thursday, October 1, 2015 starting 7:30 pm in The University Union Ballroom.

Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow. It is the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series. The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, B. D. Wong, and Irrfan Khan. The film debuted to a dominant $204.6 million at the domestic box office opening weekend.

Jurassic World takes place on the same fictional island of Isla Nublar, where a fully functioning dinosaur theme park has operated for ten years. The park plunges into chaos when a genetically modified dinosaur, Indominus Rex, breaks loose and runs rampant across the island. Now, it’s up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

The film is rated PG-13 with a runtime of approximately 124 minutes.

All ages permitted. No alcohol sold or permitted at venue.
