DESCRIPTION
Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs and the Sacramento State One Book program are pleased to announce Author’s Day events featuring Sherman Alexie, author of Blasphemy: New and Selected Stories. Author’s Day events are part of the Sacramento State One Book Program. Admission is FREE for Sacramento State students and the general public. All events are on Thursday, October 16, 2014.

Native American Repatriation
Students from Sac State Academic Learning Communities are invited to a special presentation where distinguished faculty and members of the community will speak about varying issues regarding Native American repatriation.

Sherman Alexie: A Reading from Blaspemy
Sherman Alexie will read from his collection of short stories, Blasphemy, which unites fifteen beloved classics with fifteen new stories in one sweeping anthology for devoted fans and first-time readers.

An Evening with Sherman Alexie
Sherman Alexie will read from his book, Blaspemy. Book signing will be immediately following this event.

Alexie showcase his many talents in Blasphemy, where he unites fifteen beloved classics with fifteen new stories in one sweeping anthology for devoted fans and first-time readers. Included here are some of his most esteemed tales, including “What You Pawn I Will Redeem,” in which a homeless Indian man quests to win back a family heirloom and several more.

All ages permitted. No alcohol sold or permitted at venue.
