DESCRIPTION

Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs is pleased to announce a Wednesday Nooner concert featuring Jesi Naomi. The concert will be hosted at the University Union Redwood Room on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12 pm. This event is free for students and the general public.

Chico native and former Sacramento State student, Jesi Naomi began performing solo only a handful of years ago. Raised in a musical family and performing in musical theater since a young age, Jesi taught herself how to play piano in the practice rooms in the music building at Sacramento State. Just two years later she was a regular performer in the Sacramento  and surrounding areas. Her influences include gospel great Mahalia Jackson and blues legend Billie Holiday, and her music includes blues, soul, R&B, hip-hop, rock and reggae.

All ages permitted. No alcohol sold or permitted at venue.
