DESCRIPTION
Sacramento State’s University Union UNIQUE Programs is pleased to announce a Wednesday Nooner concert featuring The Tipsy Hustlers. The concert will be at the University Union Redwood Room on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 12 pm. This event is free for students and the general public.
The Tipsy Hustlers is a funk-rock-pop-blues-soul band that owns its eclectic sound. The vision of founder and songwriter Ken Rudulph is simple: Rock hard, feel deep, and shake it if you got it.
Lead singer Ken Rudulph, who also co-hosts Channel 31’s Good Day Sacramento, and bassist John Mullick IV were formerly in Mama’s Gravy, a long-time favorite Sacramento funk/ rock/ soul/ rap band that broke up in the early 2000’s. In 2012, they were joined by guitarist Xavier Altimiras Lupon and drummer John Linn to form The Tipsy Hustlers. They immediately cornered the Sacramento market in what the group likes to call the funk-rock-pop-soul- blues genre.
This event is part of Sac State UNIQUE Program’s Wednesday Nooner concert series. For the full calendar, visit www.SacStateUNIQUE.com or call the University Union Information Desk at (916) 278-6997.
